This is a list of episodes of the anime series Naruto: Shippuden. The episodes are directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo. They are based on Part II of the Naruto manga series by Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto: Shippuden is a continuation of the Naruto manga series by Kishimoto, and continues the same storyline after the passing of two and a half years in the fictional Naruto universe. The episodes began airing on February 15, 2007 and have all been shown on TV Tokyo in Japan.[1] Starting on January 2, 2009 Viz Media will begin providing eight subtitled Naruto: Shippuden episodes on the official Naruto website every week until it has caught up to the Japanese anime. Also, beginning January 15, 2009, Viz will start providing subtitled versions of the latest Naruto: Shippuden episodes days after they first air in Japan, with a new episode being added to the Naruto website each subsequent Thursday.[2]

Twelve pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; four opening themes and eight ending themes. Yasei" (目覚めろ！野性?) by Matchy with Question?, which is used from episode 42 until 53, Sunao na Niji (素直な虹?) by Surface from episode 54 until 63, "Broken Youth" by Nico Touches the Walls from episode 64 to 77, "Long Kiss Good Bye" by Halcali from episode 78 to 90, and "Bacchikoi!!!"
